Agtegra Cooperative Donates to Over 200 4-H and FFA Programs Across the Dakotas

As part of its continued investment in the future of agriculture, Agtegra Cooperative has donated to more than 200 4-H clubs and FFA chapters across North and South Dakota this year. These contributions are key to the cooperative’s agricultural education and community impact initiatives.

“We’re proud to support 4-H and FFA because of their proven role in shaping tomorrow’s agricultural leaders,” said Jason Klootwyk, Agtegra CEO. “The future of our industry and rural communities depends on the next generation. Supporting their education and development is an investment in that future.”

Agtegra’s donations — augmented by a matching grant from the Land O’Lakes Foundation—will benefit 159 4-H clubs and 45 FFA chapters across its trade territory. These programs provide youth with hands-on experience in leadership, agriculture, and civic engagement, laying a strong foundation for careers in farming, ranching, and related industries.

Klootwyk, a former 4-H member, shared how the program shaped his early leadership development.

“4-H gave me my first opportunity to lead—as an officer and later as club president. The experience helped me build essential planning, public speaking, and accountability skills,” he said. “It also gave me lifelong friendships and set me on my path in agriculture.”
